Leicester Tigers are excited to announce backrower Hanro Liebenberg has renewed his contract with the club.

Since arriving in Leicester from the Bulls in South Africa in 2019, Liebenberg, 28, has been voted Tigers Player of the Year, has amassed 100 appearances to date, including 32 as captain and tasted Gallagher Premiership glory in Tigers colours in 2022.

Leicester Tigers backrower, Hanro Liebenberg said: “I’m grateful to continue my career here at the Leicester Tigers.

“From day one I’ve felt at home here and I’m excited for the future, particularly with the group of players we have here and the program the coaches have put in place.
