Leicester Tigers made it an unforgettable first visit to Welford Road for Sophie Coe when she was presented to a record LV Cup crowd as the winner of My First Matchday.
My First Matchday aims to give first-time visitors to the home of Tigers a memorable experience - and that's just what happened to 11-year-old Sophie, who received her prize at half-time of Saturday's sell-out game against Northampton Saints.
Sophie, from Desborough in Northamptonshire, was presented on the pitch with a bag of Tigers goodies, the icing on the cake of Tigers' 17-8 victory.
"It was so exciting to win," said Sophie, who attended the game as part of a Group Days booking with her school, Havelock Junior School in Desborough. "
"It was great fun to go to the game. I didn't know my mum had entered me in the draw. It's been a really good day and winning just made it extra special."
Mum Annalisa says the family are big Tigers supporters.
"My brother is a season ticket holder," she said."He knew we were coming and said to enter Sophie for My First Matchday."
"I didn't tell her and then when she won she was thrilled. My family have always supported so it's great to bring the children along."
Sign up a first-time visitor now at leicestertigers.com/myfirstmatchday or on matchday with a Games Keeper and they will be put into a prize draw to win a bag of Tigers goodies.
First-time visitors can also pick up a My First Matchday certificate signed by club captain Ed Slater from Games Keepers.
Games Keepers are members of the Tigers customer services team and stationed on the plaza in front of the MET-Rx stand and around the stadium on matchdays to lend a helping hand, to promote Tigers family traditions and to ensure everyone has a great day out.
Why not find a Games Keeper at the next Tigers home game against Gloucester Rugby in the Aviva Premiership on Friday, February 13 and #Getcaptured for the chance to get your photo shown on the Big Screen, on Tigers' social media pages and in the matchday programme!
Match tickets are available now. Call in at Welford Road, phone 0116 319 8888 (option 2) or click here to book online - you can also use the new print at home facility for tickets bought online. This game is included in Tigers season tickets.
