The Shortlist
Dan Cole, Record Breaker (v Northampton Saints)
In his 17th season at the club, Dan Cole's legendary status at Leicester Tigers is indisputable.
The prop has been a vital cog in a formidable front row for close to two decades and April saw him pass yes another incredible milestone.
The latest East-Midlands derby against Northampton Saints saw Cole run out for his 235th league appearance, making him Leicester Tigers' most-capped player in Premiership history, breaking the long-held record of 234 by fellow front-row legend Graham Rowntree.
Ollie Hassell-Collins, Double (v Bristol Bears)
The wing touched down in either half to cap a stellar individual performance in Tigers' last home outing.
The first came as a result of perfect positioning; with Tigers camped on the Bears line, Hassell-Collins calls for the ball in space and recieves it with a ranging miss pass from centre Dan Kelly, allowing the wing to dive over for the game's opener.
The second came shortly after half time and opened the scoring in the second 40. A rock solid scrum provided the base here, with Tigers around 15 metres out. The set piece allowed for a clean strike move to be hit and this was executed to perfection, the ball played out the back to Pollard, who shipped it onto Steward who found Hassell-Collins in space.
The flyer has a bit to do but his immense acceleration and tricky footwork mean it was an inevitability as he hits a second picture perfect dive to score in the corner.
The Tigers Family (v Bristol Bears)
Our final nomination for April is for you, the Tigers Family.
The match against Bristol Bears on Saturday, April 27 saw a sold-out Mattioli Woods Welford Road for the third time this season.
There is no better sound than our home in full voice, no better visual than 25'849 members of the Tigers family roaring us on and no better feeling than your support.
The result may not have gone our way on Saturday, but if we are talking about triumph's, having you by our side is indisputable.
