Retail Supervisor

Location: Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium, Leicester.
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time.
Salary: £19,000.00 per annum

The Role:

With the Club Shop having been brought back ‘in house’ within the last year, we are excited to announce that an opportunity has opened up to join our Retail team as a Retail Supervisor.

As the Retail Supervisor, you will ensure that excellent customer service is provided at all times. The successful candidate will deputise in the Retail Managers’ absence, and support the team by ensuring that all staff are trained appropriately.

Both during the week, and on Match Days, the Retail Supervisor will place a key customer facing role in promoting the Leicester Tigers brand, and engaging our supporters, and maximising retail revenue.

The successful candidate will also assist in selling stock at Rugby Festival’s and Events throughout the country. This may result in the Retail Supervisor having to stay away from home for a few of days at a time, on occasions.

Essential:

  • At least 2 years’ of face to face customer service experience
  • Ability to work away from home, occasionally for several days at a time
  • A full and valid UK driving licence
  • Eligible to work within the UK

Desirable:

  • Prior experience of working within the retail sector
  • Experience of supervising other member of staff

Artworker

The Role:

At Leicester Tigers, we are excited to announce that an opportunity has opened up to work in our Design Studio, as an Artworker.

At Tigers, we run our own ‘in-house’ studio, and due to an increase in digital and graphical requirements across the Club, we are looking to expand our team.

As part of the Marketing team you will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced group, and will be responsible for the art working of content that is used to drive sales for both digital and print platforms. The Leicester Tigers Studio is used by every department across the Club, creating a broad spectrum of work and projects. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the Senior Graphic Designer in the production of artwork and graphics
  • Assisting with print, digital, email and web art work
  • Managing relationships with print and signage companies along with other departments to ensure deadlines are met
  • Acting as an on-site point of contact for signage and graphic installations
  • Working with the Marketing department to take briefs through to final artwork
  • Collaborating with other departments within the organisation to assist in meeting their artwork requirements
  • Ensuring the club’s brand guidelines are adhered to at all time with respect to artwork
  • Carrying out any other duties and tasks required by management, which are within the post-holder’s capabilities

  • 1-3 years of experience in Graphic Design or a related field
  • Prior experience in Motion Graphics and/or animation
