The FULL TIME whistle is blown at Kingston Park and it's the home side who are victorious, after an impressive second half from the Falcons sees them com away 54-13 winners.

CONVERSION - FALCONS

Brett Connon again with a successful shot at goal, extending the Falcons lead to 54-13 as we close in on full time at Kingston Park.

TRY - FALCONS

The Falcons are finishing fast in this fixture as they cross for another, through Guy Graham, after again showing their class with ball in hand in broken play. Crowd enjoyed it, us not so much.

Brett Connon converts from in front and the Falcons are out to a 47-13 lead.

TRY - FALCONS

The home side march their way up the pitch with some impressive interplay and offloading and the ball is then moved wide to the right, before an inside pass for Glen Young sees the lock in space to score his second of the night.

A FINAL, FINAL OPPORTUNITY?

We cough up the ball in attack inside the Falcons 22, but a forward pass on their counter down the left hand touchline hands us another scrum just 25m out in the final minutes of tonight's fixture.

78

FINAL OPPORTUNITY?

A final opportunity for points is upon us as we force an error from Falcons at their lineout, after we were taken in to touch after an impressive phase play inside their 22, and we will feed a scrum just 10m out.

PATIENT PLAY FROM TIGERS

The lads with an impressive, patient display of phases inside the Falcons 22.

CONVERSION - FALCONS

TEN TO GO!

We have entered the final 10 minutes of play at Kingston Park, trailing Falcons by 20 points, 33-13.

69

GAME RE-STARTS IN OUR 22

We are back on and it's a Falcons scrum feed on our 22m line.

67

BREAK IN PLAY

We have a stopped clock at Kingston Park as Sam Aspland-Robinson is treated on field by the doctors and nurses. But, don't worry, Sammy is tough and he's up! Good on you Sam. Love the toughness.

SMITHY LEAVES THE FIELD TO STANDING OVATION

Matt Smith is substituted and replaced by Isaac McNulty in the centres, with a standing ovation for the Tigers veteran (from us) as we enter the final 15 minutes of play.

MA'AFU NOW IN THE BIN

A second yellow card for our front-row as Campese Ma'afu is shown yellow for, um .... we don't know, as we can't see that far from our seat, but will find out for you as soon as we can! Promise.

61

CONVERSION UNSUCCESSFUL

Brett Connon can't convert that try from the touchline, meaning the Falcons lead remains at 20 points (33-13) with 19 minutes remaining.

Falcons winger Adam Radwan makes it a double, with the fleet-footed speedster dancing his way down the right hand touch line once again before stepping inside to score under the posts.

54

STRONG SCRUM LADS!

The Tigers scrum pushes its way over Newcastle's, 40 out from the home side's line and the backs put on a very slick set play down the left wing. However, a dropped ball on the end of it hands the home side a lineout 25 out from their own line.

52

SOME BIG SHOTS OUT THERE TONIGHT!

Fred Tuilagi is putting in some big defensive minutes tonight, with the back-rower turned lock using the full width of his shoulders to sit down some Falcons across the pitch!

We have a chance to close the deficit to just one after turning over the ball inside the Falcons 22 at the ruck and forcing a penalty, our way, within striking range.

CONVERSION - FALCONS

The home side convert the try and are back in the lead, by four points, 14-10 in the dying stages of the first half.

TRY - FALCONS

The home side hit back with their second try of the match, through right winger Adam Radwan who dances his way down the touchline with some fancy footwork. Fair play, that would have scored well on Strictly!

CONVERSION - TIGERS

Fly-half Dan Lewis converts the try from the right-hand touchline and we extend our lead to three points, 7-10, with just five remaining on the clock in the first half.

TRY - TIGERS!!

We have our first try of the night, after a brilliant build up from the big boys and the backs in attack, as we make a sneaky play of it down the blindside through outside centre Rob Povey! GET IN!

32

SLOW AND STEADY WE GO!

Ruck by ruck, phase by phase, we edge towards the Falcons line inside their 22. Patience lads, patience!

29

WHO WET THE BALL?

It's not raining, but we're assuming there's some sweat on the ball as both sides cough it up with errors in attack. Thankfully, the Falcons advantage ran out so we're awarded a scrum for their error on halfway.

27

UNFORCED ERROR FROM FALCONS

We send the ball back towards the Falcons half from the lineout, deep inside our own 22, and it finds touch on the bounce. The throw from the home side at the set piece is deemed not straight, handing us a scrum feed on halfway ... well, near enough to halfway!

25

TRY-SAVER!

We clear from inside our 22 and the Falcons bring the ball back in attack, quickly and wide to their left, but an overlap doesn't bring any reward as Sam Aspland-Robinson makes a diving, try-saving tackle in to touch! How very Mat Tait of him...

24

DID WE MENTION IT'S COLD?

Geez it's chilly here tonight. Not really relevant to the action on the pitch, but we felt the need to share it with you supporters at home, warm, following along on Matchday LIVE or Twitter. #yourewelcome

22

STRONG TIGERS D!

That's it boys! A brilliant defensive effort at the Falcons driving maul, 5m out from our try line, wraps up the ball and forces the referee in to awarding a scrum our way.

21

BACK TO BACK PENALTIES

A second penalty for Falcons inside the Tigers 22 and the home side kick for the corner and look to drive the line out forward, over the line again.

20

A QUARTER OF THE WAY THROUGH

Time flies when you're having fun! We are already 20 minutes in to this Premiership Shield clash with Falcons, trailing 7-3 after an exciting opening quarter at Kingston Park.

19

OVER EAGER AT THE RUCK

A few Tigers were too keen to make some tackles at that ruck and are ruled offside, handing the Falcons a chance to kick for the corner inside our 22.

17

TINO HUNGRY FOR CONTACT

Valentino Mapapalangi is in search of the big hits tonight in defence, with the Tongan international so far sending a handful of Falcons flying back towards their own line! Good to see!!

15

SCUFFLE STOP PLAY

We have a hold up in proceedings as players from both sides enjoy an on-field cuddle ... we're assuming to stay warm. Nice to see such love out there between the teams. The referee has even brought the captains in to share his thoughts on it!

13

AWAY HE GOES ... OUR MAN TINO!

Valentino Mapapalangi bursts through the Falcons defence and is racing towards the home side's try-line, but the Tongan international is cut down 25 out with a good tackle!

11

ASPLAND-ROBINSON INVOLVING HIMSELF

The right winger is hungry for work tonight, injecting himself in most of the attack so far on both sides of the field.

10

END TO END ACTION

It might be freezing here tonight, but both side's attack is hot! The full width and length of Kingston Park has been used after just 10 minutes.

Some huge defence inside our own half from Valentino Mapapalangi and Fred Tuilagi has the crowd "ooooing" and "aaaahing" early on!

5

FALCONS KICK DEEP

The home side send the kick off deep but it's managed by the lads at the back and eventually cleared from the base of the ruck by scrum-half Will Flynn.

FIRST POINTS ARE OURS!

We are on the board with the first points of the night as fly-half Dan Lewis successfully sends the penalty goal attempt through the goal posts from 20 out to see us lead by three after four minutes.

3

SECOND CHANCE

The lineout is brought down and driven towards the Falcons line, but doesn't bring points and instead offers a shot at goal as we're awarded a second penalty inside the home side's 22.

2

EARLY ATTACKING CHANCE

A big opportunity for early points as we're awarded a penalty inside the home side's 22 after just 2 minutes of action and we kick for the corner, opting for the lineout.
