The ‘Leicester Lip’ of the great Tigers side that claimed four successive Premiership titles from 1999, Austin Healey also won the Man of the Match award in successive Heineken Cup Final victories in 2001 and 2002.

His last-minute break set up the clinching score for Leon Lloyd in Paris in 2001 and Healey added a try of his own as Tigers became the first team to retain the trophy against Munster 12 months later.

Healey also won a Pilkington Cup Final and scored 61 tries in 248 appearances for the club, playing at scrum-half and across the backline.

With pace, strength and natural ability aplenty, Healey was capped 51 times by England, mostly at scrum-half or wing, and also played two Tests for the Lions before moving into the media at the end of his playing days.
