A former Wales Under-20s representative, centre Joe Thomas signed for Leicester Tigers in the summer of 2019 following a spell in club rugby in New Zealand.
Joe was a Grand Slam winner with Wales Under-20s in 2016 and played for Morriston School, Aberavon and Swansea before earning PRO14 experience with the Ospreys and also had a loan spell with the Dragons.
He made 18 senior appearances for the Ospreys before joining Waikato club Otorohanga in New Zealand and coupled his rugby with working in a timberyard there.
Joe’s father and uncle both played in a Siam Cup-winning team for Guernsey in 2005.
