From his first visits to Newark Rugby Club as a five-year-old, Jonny Law has moved up through the ranks with Leicester Tigers.

Jonny credits Dave Wilks, Anthony Allen and developing player programme coach Diccon Edwards with playing a major part in his improvement as a player.

Originally a fly-half, Jonny has focused his development on playing at scrum-half and says he especially admires All Blacks player Aaron Smith for his professionalism and work ethic.

As well as his rugby, Jonny played cricket and football at school, studying at Kings School in his Grantham hometown and then at Rugby School. His brother has played rugby for England Counties.
