After starting his rugby life in the backs, Joshua Manz moved into the forward pack on the way into the Tigers academy in 2020/21.
He joined his local club at Market Harborough RUFC in the under-8s age group and also played for school at Guilsborough Academy in Northamptonshire on the weay to joining the Tigers Developing Player programme based at Stoneygate.
Joshua was a keen skier from an early age and represented his school at cricket, softball, football, athletics and rowing as well as rugby, and played football at Brixwworth FC.
Former Northampton captain and England and Lions cap Bob Taylor is a relative on his mum’s side.

If you could meet one famous person, dead or alive, who would it be?
Sir David Attenborough. He’s very inspirational and everything he does is meaningful.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
The ability to heal and revive people.
What’s your first memory of Welford Road?
I remember Harborough got to parade on the pitch at half-time. When we were getting ready, we saw Manu Tuilagi and Logo Mulipola and just thinking how big and scary they were!
