From a rugby-playing farming family, Oliver Crane’s interest in the sport began at Market Bosworth RFC at the age of six.
His dad was part of the Tigers programme in his own playing days before turning to coaching at his local club, while Oliver’s brothers and cousins also play.
A student at Oakham School, he played at No8 through the Tigers Developing Player Programme base at Hinckley before a recent move to tighthead prop where academy coach Tom Harrison has provided a guiding hand.
As well as playing rugby, Oliver was a competitive swimmer, gaining selection for English Schools before having to choose which direction to take in his sporting life.

Super-strength would be handy playing rugby and especially being in front row.

That would have to Ellis Genge, I love his energy and his physicality when he plays.
