Young forward Ollie Chessum returned to Welford Road in 2020 from Championship club Nottingham after previous experience in the Tigers academy programme.

He was a member of the England Under-20s training squad in 2019/20 and has also represented England Counties.

Brought up as a Tigers fan, Ollie represented the club in the Premiership Rugby Shield during 2019/20 as a teenager and joined his new colleagues for the first time during the lcokdown period in June 2020.
