School Project Survey

Welford Road Stadium

School National Curriculum Feedback Survey

Leicester Tigers Foundation are looking at providing lessons at Welford Road Stadium based on the National Curriculum but also using the power of sport and the history and heritage the club has to make learning more fun outside of the normal classroom environment.

We would appreciate it if you could spend a couple of minutes with the small survey just to give us your feedback on what you do at the school and if there would be any interest in coming to Welford Road for say a morning or afternoon session.

Are you offering sport provision or education with a sporting theme at your school? *
Would you be interested in a programme of learning that links to the national curriculum, potentially based at Leicester Tigers? (This programme would look to use the power of sport to enhance learning and raise engagement in subjects and attainment). *
If you are interested in a potential programme at Tigers, would the school be prepared to contribute towards the costs or only able to participate if it was a fully funded programme? *
Would your teaching staff be interested in participating in such a programme and be willing to plan their lessons around the proposed session and develop learning activities with our staff? (These would be around an agreed relative scheme of work such as wk 1 – using the Tigers Captains wall for History / Numeracy / Literacy sessions) *
Would the school be happy to attend 10 sessions through the academic year or a whole term of weekly sessions? (The sessions could include Maths, Literacy, History, Geography and Tigers Programme – Healthy Eating). Each lesson plan could be for a different topic on the national curriculum or we could follow one subject throughout, meeting the outcomes needed for that particular year group of subject). *
Do you think there is a need for this type of programme within your school? *
Do you feel an outside activity session prove beneficial to the classes (i.e. stimulate learning)? *
