Leicester Tigers is delighted to announce that Harry Wells will celebrate a Testimonial Year during the 25/26 season.

The 31-year-old has made 217 appearances for the club since debuting more than a decade ago in January 2013.

Wells graduated from the Tigers Academy to the senior squad in 2012 before taking part in a club exchange with Clermont Auvergne and then enjoyed a successful loan spell with Bedford Blues in the Championship from 2013-16.

He returned to the club as a senior player for the 2016/17 season and has gone on to contribute to Premiership and Anglo-Welsh Cup success in nine seasons. Wells made his Test debut in July 2021 against Canada at Twickenham. 

Speaking about the Testimonial, Wells said: "I am incredibly humbled and excited to have the opportunity to host a Testimonial Year with the support of the club that I grew up supporting and have been able to call my home for more than a decade now."

"It's a special place with special supporters, and we will be hosting events throughout the year, which I hope provides the opportunity to meet as many supporters as possible throughout."

"The charities that I will be supporting throughout the year will be the National Autistic Society, who do incredible work trying to create a society that works for autistic people, and Menphys UK, a local charity who do fantastic work in the community, providing specialist services to support children and young adults with additional needs and disabilities.

"Both charities are close to our family's heart and have been incredibly supportive of us, so to have the opportunity to support them is special to me and my family."
