Leicester Tigers wheelchair rugby team got their Fours Premiership campaign underway last weekend.

Aiming to recapture the title after narrowly missing out in 2024, the side sit second in the table to reigning champions West Coast Crash.

Having triumphed in each of their opening three matches, the final game of the weekend saw Leicester narrowly beaten by Crash, in a nip-and-tuck 48-56 match.

The event also saw a couple of milestones achieved by individual Tigers, with Faye West captaining the side on her debut while Bruno Carrico also made his first official appearance in the Tigers stripes.

On the opposite end of the scale, Gary Scholes earned his 100th cap. Speaking after the opening round, Scholes said: "I'm incredibly proud to make my 100th appearance 10 years after my first.

"It's been a long time coming but I love being a Tiger".
