Leah Bartlett, Lisa Cockburn, Meg Jones and Elis Martin were all in competitive action this past weekend, on Saturday, March 30.

Bartlett and Martin both started for Scotland, while Cockburn entered from the bench with around 15 minutes to go, as they went to the wire against France but came up just short in a thrilling 5 - 15 encounter in Edinburgh.

The Scots lead at half time by two points courtesy of a maul try finished off by Martin, the hooker marking her first-ever Six Nations start with her first-ever Six Nations try.

Meanwhile, Jones started at outside centre for the Red Roses as they extended their lead at the top of the table, playing the full 80 minutes and involved throughout with carries, tackles and an assist as England ran out 46 - 10 winners against Wales in Bristol.

The two sides are due to face one another in two weeks time, when England travel north to the Hive Stadium, Edinburgh to face Scotland in round three of the competition (Saturday, April 13; kick off: 2.15pm).
