Leicester Tigers and Worcester Warriors are due to clash twice in the space of 24 hours at Welford Road this weekend with fixtures in the Aviva Premiership and Premiership ‘A’ League.
After Saturday’s first-team fixture in the Aviva Premiership, the club’s second string sides meet in the ‘A’ League at 3.00pm on Sunday.
The Tigers Development XV opened the season with a bonus-point away win over Worcester at Sixways with Jordan Olowofela claiming three of the nine tries and have since added a win over Wasps as they sit in third place in the northern conference table.
Many of the players involved in the ‘A’ League early in the season have now gained their first senior experience in the Anglo-Welsh Cup, with Olowofela, Harry Simmons, Sam Lewis, Tom Hardwick and Fred Tuilagi among the names that have stepped up.
Entry on Sunday is free to season ticket holders who have also received a link to download four free tickets for use by friends and family. For all other supporters, entry is £5 adults, £1 juniors at the ticket office on your way to the turnstiles.
All supporters will be accommodated in the Holland & Barrett Stand. Access is via each end of the stand and season ticket cards for all areas will operate these turnstiles. Seats are available on an unreserved basis.
Final Whistle is open from 1.30pm for pre-match food and refreshments, and the Junior Tigers Club will be open with activities for young supporters from 2.00pm. Turnstiles open at 2.00pm ahead of kick-off at 3.00pm.
Teamsheets will be available at the turnstiles.
