Leicester Tigers U18 second rower Sam Byrd put in some excellent performances for Scotland U18 recently after being one of the standouts in this year’s Academy League.
Byrd scored two tries for the ‘A’ side against Wales development before starting for Scotland at lock in their win against Italy, Byrd being narrowly denied a try.
Byrd also featured in the backrow for Scotland in the Six Nations Festival against England and Georgia.
