Balding back in line for Leeds

Adam Balding is in line face former club Leicester Tigers for a second time in a month after agreeing to extend his loan stay with Leeds Carnegie for the rest of the season.

The back-rower joined Leeds Carnegie on loan from Gloucester in December but returned to Kingsholm for just one appearance – against Tigers on February 9.

Now the former Gloucester captain is back in the Leeds squad and hoping to face Tigers again in the Guinness Premiership at Welford Road on Saturday.

“It will be a bit strange on Saturday, I am sure some of the Leicester lads will be a bit surprised to see me again,” he said.

"I am very happy at Leeds Carnegie and pleased to be given the opportunity to stay. I want to get stuck in now and do everything I can on and off the field to get the results we need before the end of the season."

Tickets for Saturday’s match are on sale now from the Tigers ticket office. Call 08701 28 34 30, book online at http://www.leicestertigers.com/ or call in at Welford Road.
