Back by popular demand, the 2021/22 season welcomes a new take on last season’s black Matchday Warm-up kit
Incorporating the ‘Spirit of Leicester’ Tiger mural designed by life-long season ticket holder James Lad for this season’s Home and Change kits, the black design is an edgier take for the new season.
Black is a colour deep in the Tigers DNA having been worn in the club’s debut season back in 1880/81.
It wasn’t until 1999 when black was worn again, this time as the team’s change colours, and again in Europe during 2004/05 and 2012/13.
Manufactured by official kit supplier Samurai, the new range will be worn by the senior squad in their final warm-up on matchdays home and away.
Carrying the logo of main partners Topps Tiles, the range includes a training jersey, a t-shirt, pullover, tapered track pants and shorts – utilising Samurai's PerformeX™ technology which offers durability, breathability and style.
The ‘Tiger Mural’ completes a fierce line-up of designs for the 2021/22 season capturing the essence of what it means to be a Tiger.
Earlier this summer, the club launched the ‘Spirit of Leicester’ Home kit accompanied by ‘The Awakening’ Change kit, as well as the club’s training kit design.
The senior squad will debut the kit ahead of kick-off against Jersey Reds (Friday, August 27, 5.00pm).
The Black Matchday range is available to order with all orders dispatched on Wednesday, September 1 with UK delivery expected to take 2-3 days.
