Blues announce side for trip to Leicester

Figure image
The Cardiff Blues team to face Leicester Tigers on Saturday in the Heineken Cup shows one change from the side that defeated Border Reivers in their last Magners League fixture, with last year's Wales U-21 hooker Duane Goodfield coming in for Rhys Thomas.

New Zealanders Ben Blair and Xavier Rush are joined by Australians Marc Stcherbina and Ben White in the starting line-up, while the replacements bench features a Samoan, a Tongan and a Canadian in Mosese Luveitasau, Taufaao Filise and Ed Fairhurst respectively.

There will be plenty of Welsh talent on display as well, with seven Principality internationals and a further seven Welsh-qualified players in the 22-man squad.
