With the home game against Sale Sharks on December 27 already a sell-out, Saturday provides another opportunity to see some top-class rugby at Welford Road this Christmas.

Tickets are still on sale for Saturday’s crucial Heineken Cup tie against Clermont Auvergne and the 6pm kick-off means you can even finish your Christmas shopping before heading down to the home of Leicester Tigers.

“Saturday is a massive game and we want all of our supporters to become the 16th man in the stands,” said Tigers managing director David Clayton.

“As the final home game before Christmas, supporters can come and enjoy a party atmosphere too and there will be mulled wine and mince pies, a Christmas choir and a visit from Santa Claus.”

Following the sell-out match against Sale Sharks, Tigers return to home ground on Saturday, January 9, with the visit of old rivals London Wasps (5.30pm).

That fixture officially kicks-off the second half of the season and, with title rivals Saracens and London Irish, as well as old rivals Bath and Gloucester, among the visitors during 2010, the Tigers 8 Pack half season ticket is proving popular with supporters.
