At this matchday Tigers will be supporting the ‘Leicester Rugby, Leicester People’ exhibition which is a community outreach programme from Leicester Arts & Museums Service exploring the stories and history of Leicester through its love of the game of rugby.
We will be inviting Tigers supporters to share their stories and memorabilia for a display being put together for this event.
The exhibition will run from September 2015 to April 2016 at Newarke Houses Museum and will provide a social history of the sport, focusing on its history in the city and people’s experiences as players or supporters.
For more information about the project and how you can get involved please email Catherine Hallsworth at [email protected] or phone Philip French on 0116 225 4979.
