While Tigers were involved in one of the matches of the season at Bath last weekend,
Harlequins moved up to second in the table with a 32-10 win against Wasps.
Now the fourth-placed Tigers are preparing to welcome former captain and director of rugby Dean Richards and his Quins side to Welford Road for what promises to be another thrilling encounter – especially if last season’s fixture is anything to go by.
Tigers staged a thrilling comeback on the final day of the Guinness Premiership season to claim victory in the last clash between the two teams. That match featured nine tries as Tom Varndell scored a dramatic late touchdown to give Tigers a 31-28 win and secure Heineken Cup qualification and a Guinness Premiership semi-final berth.
Quins, captained by former Tigers Young Player of the Year Will Skinner, are the Guinness Premiership’s top try-scorers with 20 to their name already this season and are also the competition’s top points-scorers with 164 from their six league games.
Tickets for Tigers versus Quins are available from the Welford Road ticket office, online or by calling 08701 28 34 30. Kick-off is at 3pm on Saturday, November 22.
