Freddie Burns thanked fans for voting him the Lumbers Player of the Month for November.
Fly-half Burns produced a man-of-the-match performance in the 19-11 Aviva Premiership victory over Northampton Saints before being presented with his Lumbers award.
Burns finished ahead of teammates Luke Hamilton and George Worth in the fan vote. He follows Adam Thompstone in winning the player of the month and receives a £500 voucher from award sponsor Lumbers.
“I am really grateful to the fans for voting,” said Burns, who passed 1,000 Premiership points during November. “It’s a really nice award to win and could come in handy with Christmas coming up!
“We’re happy with how things are going, happy to make it five wins in a row in all competitions but and feel we can get better.
“I think we can be a bit more ruthless and take a few more opportunities but derby games are all about winning and we have done that.”
