Leicester Tigers are producing an exclusive Christmas jersey with the goal of treating some of the city’s disadvantaged young people this festive season.
A limited edition of 35 special jerseys have been produced, with 30 to be signed by individual players for auction after the home game against Harlequins at the start of December.
One shirt signed by multiple members of the squad will also be auctioned.
The remaining four shirts will be signed by the squad and raffled to add to the fundraising.
All proceeds from the auction and raffle will go towards the Leicester Tigers Foundation and a special Christmas matchday party for youngsters featuring a fun-filled visit to Boost trampoline park, lunch, gift, three-day Christmas hamper and tickets for the European match against Connacht on the weekend before Christmas.
Sam Swift, Tigers Foundation manager, said: “Everyone at the Foundation is incredibly excited to be able to offer this wonderful experience as part of the weekend before Christmas to those who may not have had an opportunity to experience a matchday before.
“With the support and generosity of the Tigers Family, we know we’ll be able to provide a jolly Christmas to those who need it the most in our community.”
The Christmas jersey design will be revealed on Monday, November 22, when supporters will also be able to purchase replicas and T-shirts online, in store and at John Lewis Leicester.
More details of how you can take part in the auction and raffle will be confirmed soon.
