Leicester Tigers star George Chuter and county cricket hero Paul Nixon are the hosts of a charity music event at Leicester's O2 next week in support of Mencap and Lord's Taverners.
Y Factor has raised more £500,000 for the work of Mencap, the Voice of Learning Disability, over the last eight years and arrives in Leicester for the first time on Thursday, March 14.

This is a participation music event for local business and the wider community. Contestants are able to sing with a live band and release their ‘inner rock star’ to compete to be crowned Leicestershire Y Factor champion.
The panel of judges includes Tigers director and former UK Minister of State for UK Trade and Investment Lord Digby Jones and X Factor’s Andy Abrahams.
