Clarity come aboard with Leicester Tigers

Leicester Tigers have teamed up with business travel experts Clarity in a new partnership until the end of the 2019/20 season.

Manchester-based Clarity manage the business travel for many sports clubs’ admin staff and directors, and has recently stepped into recruit the entire Thomas Cook Sports team travel following the latter’s closure.

Clarity has employed 17 new staff, all from Thomas Cook Sport, to form the new Clarity Sports division which is responsible for the business travels needs of a number of Premiership, Pro14 and Premier League football clubs.

As a part of this new partnership with the club, Clarity will be supporting the club in organising travel for the playing squad to away fixtures during the 2019/20 campaign.

Clarity also helped in ensuring that the upcoming away supporter’s trip for the match against Calvisano in the European Challenge Cup on December 14 could go ahead.

Andrea Pinchen, chief operating officer at Leicester Tigers, said: “Clarity have taken some huge steps in order to not only grow its business, but also provide alternatives for former employees of Thomas Cook.

“So it’s testament to the teams at both ends, that now Leicester Tigers will be able to benefit from their services and we look forward to working with the Clarity team.”

Pat McDonagh, CEO of Clarity, said: “It’s a very exciting time for Clarity Sports, as we continue to grow our presence in the industry. Rob Slawson, Director of Sports Travel, and the rest of the team bring a wealth of expertise to Clarity, positioning us as leaders in elite sports team travel”.

As the Clarity Sports proposition matures, Clarity is looking at the next phase of its sports division being the creation of a supporter-based operation, offering ticket and travel packages to ‘bucket list’ sporting events worldwide.
