Leicester Tigers have been saddened to learn of the death of Anita Matthews, wife of the club's record appearance-holder and former president David Matthews.
A popular and friendly member of the Leicester Tigers family, Anita was a regular visitor to Welford Road and passionate in her support of the team over a number of years. She will be missed by all who knew her at the club.

Anita provided tremendous support for David during his time as a member of the general committee and then the board of directors and also during his tenure as club president.
