Welford Road will host the 2018/19 Leicestershire Rugby Union Senior County Cup Final and Colts Cup Final on Tuesday, May 7.

This year’s finals will include a double-header for Syston RFC as their seniors face off against Oadby Wyggestonians whilst the Colts side take on Market Harborough. 

Welford Road has become the home of the County Cup in recent years showcasing the best of Leicestershire club rugby. 

Oadby Wyggs had a strong season with a third place finish in the Midlands 1 (East) Division, one level below their final opposition Syston.

The Colts teams will get the evening’s fixtures underway kicking off at 6.00pm before the seniors take to the field at 7.45pm. 

Syston will be hoping to retain the cup following last season’s 73-12 triumph over Belgrave which saw 11 tries scored on the night. 

Market Harborough Colts will be looking to overcome last year’s cup final heartache after missing out on silverware losing 16-3 to Lutterworth Colts.
