Members of the Tigers squad have become 'mo bros' for the month and are growing facial hair in the name of charity.

England international Jordan Crane, All Black Craig Newby and assistant coach Richard Blaze are grooming their way to a moustache for Movember.

Other players growing a mo for the month include Anthony Allen and Andy Forsyth while the club’s backroom staff and community team are also getting involved.

“A few of the boys have got behind it,” Crane said. “I am going for the YMCA look – it’s about all I can grow.

“Craig Newby’s would be pretty good if it was a bit darker. It needs a bit of boot polish in there. Richard Blaze is looking pretty special and mine is one of the worst. There are some good looks going on around the place.”

Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in the UK and around the world during November. The aim is to raise funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.

Crane said: “It would be great if people can go online and support us and help the team raise the most money in the Premiership.”
