Leicester Tigers back-rower David Denton tells LTTV he's ready to get the season started in an exclusive chat ahead of Saturday afternoon's Gallagher Premiership opener away to Exeter.
The new recruit, who made two appearances in the pre-season schedule after an off-season move to the club from Worcester Warriors, says last Friday's opportunity to play at Welford Road for the first time as a Tigers player was an 'unbelievable' experience.
"It was incredible ... to be there as a Leicester player, in front of such a passionate group of fans, it was unbelievable." he said.
The Scotland international also says the playing group is 'happy' with where they're at after a mixed bag of results over the pre-season, capped off with a strong victory over London Irish on Friday night, but admits they are well aware 'a different kettle of fish' awaits them at Exeter this Saturday afternoon for the Premiership opener.
Denton also tells LTTV he's 'ready to go' ahead of what will be his first official outing for the Tigers Family, after it was first announced that he would join the club several months ago in February of this year.
