It’s derby day at Welford Road this Saturday as Leicester Tigers meet Northampton Saints in the pool stages of the Premiership Rugby Cup. Here is our Matchday Guide to help you make the most of your matchday.

Welford Road1

Visit leicestertigers.com/tickets/getting-to-welford-road with travel advice on getting to Welford Road

Parking is available at the nearby King Power Stadium and in the Leicester Royal Infirmary multi-storey (entry via Havelock Street), both a few minutes’ walk from Welford Road.

The club is running a special ‘one penny’ fare this weekend in association with Orbit Coaches to provide transport from Market Harborough, Oakham and Market Bosworth. All services are scheduled to arrive at Welford Road half an hour ahead of kick-off. Find out more by clicking here

Supporters are reminded that Welford Road is now a CASHLESS STADIUM and once you have entered the stadium, card and contactless payments will be the only method of payment. Please read our advice for fans for more information.

Match tickets are still available at the Tigers ticket office. Book in person at Welford Road, phone 0116 319 8888 (option 2) or online using the link below.

You can use the print-at-home option for match tickets purchased bought online. Or, if you are picking up pre-purchased tickets, the collection point is on the plaza outside the Holland & Barrett Stand. The club has also installed self-service kiosks at the collection point.

Please note that the scheduled Kegs & Eggs event has been cancelled after England's World Cup fixture with France fell victim to the weather in Japan.

The Junior Tigers Club Area is open from 1.00pm - two hours before kick-off at 3.00pm - with activities for fans aged 16 and under as well as the chance to meet Tigers players and even run out as a matchday mascot. The JTC area in the Final Whistle Bar. Membership is free. Sign up for FREE here

Stadium turnstiles, bars and food kiosks open from 1.30pm.

Please note that bag searches are in place at the turnstiles. Bags are not encouraged, but please allow extra time to get through your turnstile if you have a bag.

In accordance with stadium regulations, banned items include bottles, cans, large golf-type umbrellas and any bags that will not fit beneath a seat. More information is available on boards at all turnstiles.

The main club store and the ticket office are open all day from 9.00am and will remain open for an hour after the match.

The new-look handy-sized match programme is available at programme stalls in and around the stadium. Programme seller stalls outside of the ground will take cash payments, with stalls inside the stadium cashless only.

Programme sellers also have a stock of Fan Radios (price £10) so you can listen to the referee or match commentary at the game.

A number of bars have been refurbished and improved around the stadium.

The ABC Bar and Crumbie Lounge in The Breedon Stand have been updated and fitted with electronic display menu boards.

Other bars to have had a refurbishment include the re-named Scrum Dogs, Blindside Kitchen and Grubber Pie Co. bars on the Mattioli Woods Stand concourse.

Food and drink is also available at The Captains Bar in the Robin Hood Stand and The Final Whistle Bar in the lower concourse of the Holland & Barrett Stand.

Hear from inside the Tigers camp with a player Q&A in Final Whistle at 1.30pm.

The Droglites Bar in the Mattioli Woods Stand is the best place to bump into past players, while the marquee on the plaza outside the Holland & Barrett Stand will have refreshments available before and after the game.

Teams from junior clubs and schools in the region join us on the pitch in the approach to kick-off as Flag Wavers and the Guard of Honour.

The teams will be led out by the matchday mascots from the Junior Tigers Club.

You can use the ‘Big Screen’ function on the Official Leicester Tigers App to submit photos of your matchday, with a selection of the best being shown on the screens inside the stadium.

Please note there will be a minute’s silence in respect of former Tigers players Mike Mortimer and Steve Booth ahead of kick-off.

Half-time entertainment includes fan-favourite The Ultimate Big Boot and we will reveal the winner of the TigersLotto season ticket draw.

We will also present the club's charity partners for 2019/20 to the crowd at half-time and will be joined by the day's Matchday Coaching Clinic groups.

Fans are able to vote for their LeoVegas Fans’ Favourite from half-time up to the final whistle on the Official Leicester Tigers App, which is available to download FREE from iTunes and Google Play App Stores.

After the game, there is live music from resident band Rock Bottom in Final Whistle Bar as well as an acoustic guitarist in the marquee on the plaza.

Two current Tigers will visit The Droglites Bar and bars around the stadium will remain open so there’s no need to dash off.

The ticket office will remain open for an hour after the game. You can book your tickets for Tigers versus Saracens – and the STIHL Oktoberfest at Welford Road – at the next home game, or a Tigers Taster allowing you to watch the action from each of the four stands over four forthcoming games.

The club store will also remain open for an hour after the game.
