Destination Castres this weekend

Leicester Tigers will visit their 15th different French ground in the European Champions Cup when they take on Castres Olympique at Stade Pierre-Fabre.

Around 200 supporters are expected to make the trip for the first-ever meeting on French soil between Tigers and Castres. The only other game between the clubs was the Round 2 fixture at Welford Road, which Tigers won 54-29.

Tigers will be in their white alternate kit for the Round 5 fixture, which kicks off at 6.30pm local time/5.30pm UK time.

The current weather forecast is for rain and a maximum temperature of 7C and a minimum temperature of 4C.

Tigers will bring a taste of the Champions Cup atmosphere on the club website and app, as well as on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Use the hashtag #Tigersontour if you’re part of the travelling Tigers Family, and use the match hashtag #CASvLEI to discuss the game.

And don’t forget to email your photos to [email protected] and we will use a selection on the club website and in the programme for the Anglo-Welsh Cup game against Cardiff Blues.

Castres, meanwhile, will open an area in the Rue des Freres Nicouleau from 4pm in time for supporters to enjoy music, food and live television coverage of the game between Racing 92 and Munster from Paris. Kick-off is at 4.15pm French time.
