Join us for Tigers In The Park on the build-up to kick-off today and enjoy activities and entertainment for the whole family.
Tigers In The Park, a free community event based on Nelson Mandela Park and at Welford Road stadium, starts at 10am and runs up to kick-off in the Leicester Tigers match against Newcastle Falcons in Round 1 of the Aviva Premiership Rugby season.

Attractions at Nelson Mandela park include the StubHub lucky turnstile, Mark Group kicking challenge, Junior Tigers Club Speed Pass Challenge with NEXT, STIHL tackle bag game, Everards coconut shy and Spire Hospital colouring competition for young supporters.
We’ve also got mini quad bikes, mobile farm, birds of prey display, plus inflatables, facepainting and activities for younger supporters, and Tigers players will be making an appearance too.
On the stadium plaza BMX performer Matti Hemmings is running free workshops and demonstrations, and Ride Leicester with their bike fix service and advice station as well as their bike park and Watt Bike Challenge.
The Tigers Wheelchair Rugby Team will be there with demonstrations and providing supporters with a chance to try wheelchair rugby.
Entry to Tigers In The Park is free.
