Matthew Oakley won the cost of his Leicester Tigers season ticket in the TigersLotto and received his prize on the pitch at Welford Road on Saturday.

Joined by his son Thomas, Matthew was presented to a capacity crowd at half-time in Saturday’s league encounter with Northampton Saints and received a cheque to the value of his season ticket in the Holland & Barrett Stand.

“Matchday is a great family experience here and there’s a great atmosphere,” said Matthew. “I was surprised when I heard I’d won and very excited to get the news.”

The season ticket draw is held at every home game throughout the season.
