Leicester Tigers players Tom Brady, Fred Tuilagi, Joe Maksymiw and George Worth swapped the rugby pitch for the shop floor at the launch of the club’s new city centre pop-up store.
Fans chatted to the players, posed for photos and were also served by them in the new store in the Highcross shopping centre.
Club mascot Welford was also at the opening, entertaining younger fans and families, and posing for photos, while BBC Radio Leicester chatted to fans and the players.
The store, which is located opposite Tigers main club sponsor Holland & Barrett’s store in the upper mall, will stock replica home and alternate strips, leisurewear and training kit, as well as the club’s commemorative ‘125 anniversary’ collection.
Supporters will also be able to buy match tickets for upcoming Tigers fixtures in store.
