Leicester Tigers supporters are being offered one last chance to purchase a Limited Edition Heritage Shirt, in support of the club’s Foundation Monument project.
The popular shirt designs – based on the kit worn between 1909 and 1947 by Tigers players, and the club socks worn during the same period – sold out completely in 2019, but the Foundation have now sourced one final production run for supporters who may have missed out.
Proceeds from the shirts will support the Foundation Monument project, which will recognise and remember the Leicester Tigers players – as well as those who served within the Royal Leicestershire Regiment – who died serving their country during both World Wars.
They will be honoured by two commemorative Tiger sculptures, which will take pride of place at the historic Welford Road stadium. You can read more about the Monument project here.
Shirt sizes available range from XS through to 6XL in both the green, white and red original design and the black heritage scheme, and are available for £60 in all sizes.
Delivery is available via registered post, or purchases can be collected from the Tigers ticket office at Welford Road.
Samples are available to view in the Holland & Barrett Stand reception at the stadium, while the Foundation team are present at every home match day – with samples also on display at Tigers’ match with Wasps this Saturday, February 15 (3.00pm).
