Fly-half Flood was one of 12 Tigers players who represented their country at the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
They are all now back in training with Tigers and looking forward to pulling on the club shirt, including Flood who is set to play in Friday evening’s Welford Road clash.
“It is great to be back home,” says Flood, who was among seven Tigers players in the England squad at the World Cup.
“The focus has been on England for the last few months and we can’t wait to get back out playing again with Tigers.
“We know it has been tough for the club at the start of the season and we want to get out there and to get back into it with Tigers.”
Director of rugby Richard Cockerill will announce his team at midday on Thursday, but said: “The World Cup guys are all back in training now, it’s great to have them back. Now we have to integrate them as quickly as we can.
“We’ll take all the guys on an individual basis and make sure they are fresh and fit. There are no compulsory rest periods following the World Cup and if they are ready to play then they will play.”
Tickets for Friday’s game are available now by clicking here, or phone the hotline 0844 856 1880 or call in at the Welford Road ticket office.
