The Big Boot has proved a popular addition to a Leicester Tigers matchday and there are now only two opportunities left this season to take on the challenge.

Introduced at the start of the season, the Big Boot is a half-time competition that sees groups of fans try to catch a rugby ball pumped high into the Welford Road sky for the chance to win a cash prize.

The prize fund started at £250 on the opening day of the season and we’ve added £50 to the jackpot every week it has remained unclaimed.

The jackpot stood at £450 befre today’s game with Harlequins and to win the prize fund each member of a 10-strong team has to successfully complete a high catch fired by the Big Boot.

The Big Boot fixtures are now fully booked for the remainder of the season apart from the Heineken Cup fixture against Ulster Rugby on the weekend of January 17, 18 and 19 and the Aviva Premiership game with Saracens on the weekend of April 10.
