Vereniki Goneva will miss the Leicester Tigers match against London Welsh after being suspended for one game.Tigers wing Goneva was cited for striking Saracens back-rower Kelly Brown with his forearm during last Saturday’s Aviva Premiership match at Allianz Park and was suspended for one week having pleaded guilty to the charge.
He will be miss the game against London Welsh at Welford Road on April 25.
The case against Saracens No8 Billy Vunipola was dismissed by the RFU Disciplinary Panel and he is free to continue playing.
The panel of Philip Evans (chair), Bonike Erinle and Martyn Wood dismissed the citing for striking Mathew Tait with his head, contrary to Law 10.4 (a), or, in the alternative, charging into a ruck, contrary to Law 10.4 (h).
