Tigers Family celebrate Friday Night Lights

Leicester Tigers celebrated Friday Night Lights - and a win over rivals Bath Rugby - with almost 19,000 supporters at Mattioli Woods Welford Road in Round 8 of the 21/22 Gallagher Premiership season.

Fans were treated to a pyrotechnics display pre-match, as well as fireworks throughout the match, and Diwali-themed-fun in the Final Whistle Bar and on the pitch, in the stands and outside the venue, before and after the action on the field.

The popular Bhangra dancers and drummers returned to Tigers HQ, helping to keep the crowd warm through the night, and were supported by a DJ 'spinning tunes' for the Tigers Family.

In addition to the entertainment, the match marked the return of the Guard of Honour to welcome the matchday squads onto the turf and - as ever - there were laughs and gasps aplenty at half-time for those in the stands with The Ultimate Big Boot.

The squad played their part in providing entertainment for fans with a bonus-point victory secured by Tom Cowan-Dickie with the final play of the match, helping to stretch the unbeaten run of Steve Borthwick's side to eight as the competition takes a two-week break.

Tigers now turn their focus to the Premiership Rugby Cup, kicking off with Sale Sharks at Mattioli Woods Welford Road on Saturday afternoon!
