Hamilton joins World Cup ranks

Figure image
Second-row forward James Hamilton has been named in Scotland's Rugby World Cup squad, taking Leicester Tigers' representation in France next month to 11 plus Aaron Mauger who joins the club after the tournament.

Hamilton made his senior international debut for Scotland last season after previously gaining age-group recognition with England.

He could face future club colleague Mauger in France as Scotland are drawn in the same pool as New Zealand, as well as Martin Castrogiovanni's Italy, Portugal and Romania.
