Anthony Watson is one of five nominees for the Try of the Round from the opening weekend of the 2022/23 Heineken Champions Cup pool stages.

The Tigers full-back's individual effort in the win over Ospreys in Wales has been shortlisted alongside scores from the Cell C Sharks, Leinster Rugby, Sale Sharks and Stade Toulousain from the first round of European fixtures.

Watson's try came from nowhere, dancing his way through the broken defence of Ospreys players before speed and strength saw him brush off the last line on his way to diving over in his first Champions Cup outing for Leicester.
