Former heavyweight champion of the world David Haye and sports promoter Barry Hearn will be special guests at the club’s two upcoming Business Club events in 2021.
In partnership with club partner Mattioli Woods, the Business Club provides members with the opportunity to hear from guest speakers at a number of events each season.
Usually held at the stadium, the events have moved to a virtual video format, with TV Pundit Chris Kamara opening the first event of this 2020/21 campaign back in December last year.
Barry Hearn will be joining guests on Thursday, February 11 to talk about his career as a promoter, having covered snooker, darts, golf and fishing alongside his various roles as chairman within the darts and football landscape.
David Haye will be the third guest speaker of this season’s Business Club on Wednesday, April 14 as the retired boxer looks back on a glittering career as a former heavyweight champion of the world and life outside of the boxing ring.
Pending government restrictions, the club is hopeful that the event on April 14 will be able to function as a physical event at Mattioli Woods Welford Road.
Business Club membership is open to businesses of all sizes, with four events during the season providing an opportunity to hear from a variety of speakers.
