James Morrison made Welford Road history on Thursday night when he became the first headline act to perform live in concert at the home of Leicester Tigers.

Brit Award-winner Morrison was in fantastic voice as he wowed thousands of fans in the Caterpillar Stand at the iconic rugby stadium.

Morrison belted out a string of his hits including You Give Me Something and Broken Strings, and closed his set with fans’ favourite Wonderful World.

Morrison was supported by 22-year-old singer-songwriter Lauren Pritchard and local acts Jersey Budd and Hannah B.
