Places are available to join Leicester Tigers at the final Business Club lunch of the 2018/19 season at Welford Road on Wednesday, April 3.
The Business Club invites local businesses and guests to the home of Leicester Tigers to enjoy a guest speaker and lunch as well as the chance to network with club partners.
Former Leicester Tigers wing Leon Lloyd and TV’s Ant Middleton joined more than 200 guests at Business Club events earlier in the year, and next up is British businessman, politician and member of the Leicester Tigers board of directors, Lord Digby Jones.
A lawyer, who after 20 years in corporate law, served from 2000 to 2006 as Director-General of the CBI, Digby then moved to the House of Lords as Minister of State for Trade and Investment.
Digby now sits as an independent peer on the crossbenches, is s a corporate ambassador for AON and Jaguar and is a senior advisor to Babcock International Group plc and Harvey Nash Group PLC.
Alongside this, Digby is Deputy Chairman of Unipart Expert Practices, is Chairman of Triumph Motorcycles Ltd, Grove Industries, shp Ltd and Cell Therapy Ltd and is a non-executive director of Thatchers Cider Ltd.
Guests will be able to enjoy a two-course meal in the Clubhouse Suite in the Robin Hood Stand at Welford Road, before hearing from Digby on a variety of topics.
Yearly memberships are available for three events at £150 + VAT per person and can be purchased online or via our Corporate Sales Team.
