A team of Leicester Tigers players will aim to successfully defend their Try Tuesdays Pub Quiz title when the popular event returns to Welford Road next month.Julian Salvi, Anthony Allen and Blaine Scully are among the senior players on the Tigers team as well as Neil Briggs, Miles Benjamin and Adam Thompstone.
Supported by Everards, brewers of Everards Tiger, the official beer of the Leicester Tigers, the Try Tuesdays Pub Quiz will be held in Final Whistle, in the MET-Rx Stand at Welford Road on February 10.
Tigers legend George Chuter led the players’ team to a dramatic victory in last year’s pub quiz with the aid of a sudden-death tiebreak question.
