Join Welford at Broughton Astley Carnival

Leicester Tigers mascot Welford and the roadshow team will join in the celebrations at the Broughton Astley Carnival on Saturday.

Welford is set to be part of the carnival parade through the streets of Broughton Astley, which runs from midday to 1pm.

The Maul, the Tigers roadhsow vehicle, will be on the Thomas Estley School Fields in Station Road, Broughton Astley from midday to 5pm with games and entertainment for everyone.

Have your photo taken with the Aviva Premiership Trophy from 1.30pm and have fun with our cardboard of cut-out to see what you would look like on our matchday programme.

Test your skills on the Speed Pass Challenge, pick up a free Junior Tigers Club goody bag for all visitors under-16 and for adults, sign up to our free e-membership and collect a free goody bag.

The Carnival theme this year is Music (& Fashion) Through the Decades and there is a fancy dress competition as well as stalls, fun fair rides a beer tent and a barbecue plus live music.

It is the second event of the week for Welford and The Maul, after they joined HRH Prince Michael of Kent and 90,000 other visitors to the Norfolk Show.
