JTC Takeover Day roles for young supporters

Young Leicester Tigers fans are being given the chance to help run matchday operations at Welford Road at the Junior Tigers Club Takeover Day on Saturday, March 28.The Aviva Premiership game against Exeter Chiefs is dedicated to the club’s young supporters, with JTC members being given a once-in-a-lifetime chance to takeover behind the scenes.   Held in association with next, it is the fourth annual Junior Tigers Club Takeover Day and Tigers are running a series of competitions to recruit JTC members to some of the club’s matchday roles.   Tigers are looking for a matchday announcer to read out the team sheet before kick-off and a matchday reporter who will be part of the Press team reporting on the action and conducting post-match interviews.   There are roles for two player interviewers who will meet and interview members of the Tigers squad in the 1880 Club and the JTC VIP Area in Final Whistle before the game.   And Tigers are also looking for 10 fans aged three to seven to take on the role of Tiger Cubs, two supporters aged three to five to be mini Welfords and help the club mascot perform his matchday duties, and two matchday mascots to help lead out the team on to the pitch.   Visit http://www.leicestertigers.com/fans/jtc/jtctakeover.php for details of how to enter.   The competitions are only open to JTC members.
