Kamara a ‘hit’ at first virtual Business Club

Leicester Tigers Business Club members were treated to a sing-song courtesy of special guest speaker Chris Kamara in the first virtual Business Club event of the season.

Hosted in partnership with club partners Mattioli Woods, the former footballer-turned-pundit joined more than 50 guests on a video call and shared stories from his career in sport and in the media.

Kamara forged a professional football career in the 1980s and 90s, playing for 11 clubs, before moving into management and then punditry with Sky Sports Soccer Saturday.

His quick-fire analysis and ‘in the gantry’ reports, along with his charisma and unique one-liners make him a household name, with his media career spanning a variety of day-time and prime time shows.

As well as talking about his career, Kamara has also recently released a Christmas album and delighted guests on the call with a live performance at the end of the call.

Membership to the Business Club invites guests to attend a number of networking events throughout each season, accompanied by a special guest speaker.

Previous guests include author and politician Lord Jeffrey Archer, TV’s Ant Middleton, Paralympian Sammi Kinghorn, TV presenter Clare Balding and former Leicester Tigers player Leon Lloyd.

Details of the next Business Club and guest speaker will be announced in the new year.
